Magical laughter with Magic 89.9 boys

When the “naughty green” boys of Magic 89.9 invited me to guest on their radio program last September 13, I right away said, “Yes.” I knew it would be enjoyable, but I did not expect it to be a super hilarious-laced-with-bits-of-green-jokes-and-questions encounter.   Ha, ha, ha, the experience made me feel younger and girlish! Ah, to be young again and again … thanks to Laughter Yoga, I do not feel the passage of time!

Age is simply but numbers  how, what you think and feel are what matter most.   More than all these, knowing that you make a wonderful, healthy, happy, positive difference is the lives of thousands of our kababayans is worth every moment spent on them, with them, and for them.

With great surprise, this morning, October 12, I received e-mails from the three gorgeous boys of Magic 89.9. Dear readers, allow me, with much appreciation and a grateful heart, to give way to the DJs, Boys Night Out, Magic 89.9:

 Says Tony Bueno:

“Laughter Yoga by Elvie Estavillo was really easy and exciting, and I didn’t break a sweat!! It centers the body and uplifts the spirit, giving your mind a more positive direction.  It is a new avenue for those people who have a difficult time stretching and holding the traditional yoga poses.

Laughter is the most basic of things. I didn’t realize that it has a profound effect on our health and can be a daily spiritual practice. I couldn’t believe that you can cure yourself just through laughter. Nature’s best and fastest stress buster! I am now using some Laughter Yoga techniques when I drive around to deal with the traffic.

“Laughter Yoga puts you in the present, so why not laugh NOW! As they say laughter is the best medicine. So tune in every Monday-Thursday Boys Night Out Magic 89.9 nationwide through Killer Bee stations.”

 Sam Gogna:

“In contrast to what most people think, working in the entertainment industry is not exactly the easiest thing to do. After a long day at work or school, professionals, students, teachers, and people from all walks of life take time to tune in to our rather unique radio show, Boys Night Out on Magic 89.9.

“Being on the program for over four years, I’ve realized that the more people listen, the more is expected of our trio. When people ask, “What’s the secret behind Boys Night Out?” I smile and answer, ‘It’s being happy and loving what we do.’

“I firmly believe that your emotions and feelings affect people around you. If you are filled with positivity, it will manifest to others. On the other hand, if you feel negative or show resentment, it also transpires.

“Maintaining a happy aura has a lot to do with one’s state of mind. Luckily, I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Elvie Estavillo, the pioneer of Laughter Yoga in our country, who allowed me to try out Laughter Yoga. Weird or funny at first, it does produce significant results, especially for people feeling down and out.

“I started feeling a change in my aura and the people around me noticed the same. I realized how important it was to release tension and stress every day in order to maintain a positive vibe  a vibe that I was able to share with people around me.

 Eric Virata:

“There are many ways by which we try to find ourselves in this hectic world we are in. The more ways we find, the more we need to apply them to our lives. In our fast-paced world, sometimes we need to step away and center ourselves. I’ve done the yoga thing, the gym thing to find new ways to just get away. But when we tried the Laughter Yoga, I was pretty amused because it was something that I’m used to doing especially on our show.

“When you really think about it, you realize that laughter is really the best medicine. Who would have known you could capitalize on such a thought? I guess when you think  and put it into principle, laughing does make us feel much better.”
