Sony unveiled its three new Xperia smartphones and a wearable gadget, which are all great companions for users who love take selfies everywhere including the scenic beaches of the Philippines and even underwater or in the shower!
The latest Sony smartphones and gadget (Xperia Z1C, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 tablet and Smartband) are not just water and dustproof, they also come with innovative features that will surely hook users due to its useful technology.
Xperia Z2
In front of the three new mobiles is Sony’s new flagship waterproof smartphone, the Xperia Z2 that features better display, sound, camera and camcorder experience.
It only took six months for Sony to unveil its new pride after the release of Z1 in September last year, though it has the same look, but separation comes in with the 5.2†Full HD Triluminous display for mobile with Live Colour LED powered by X-Reality.
Sony is proud to introduce the first smartphone to have Digital Noise Cancelling (DNC), which enables users to detach themselves from the busy world by fully enjoying audio (music, videos) minus the unwanted noise from the environment.
Users will also enjoy the art of slow-motion with the Timeshift feature; perfect to capture decisive moments in every action shots, aside from the new Augmented Reality (AR) effect and 4K resolution (4 times the resolution of full HD) with SteadyShot to execute stability in every photo.
But the camera and camcorder experience would not be exceptional if not for the 20.7 megapixel of the camera, spiced up with CMOS image sensor and BIONZ for image processing engine.
The newest phone of Sony is packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2.3 Ghz quad-core Krait CPUs and 4G LTE for fast performance, 3GB RAM and a longer battery life of 3200 mAh in an 8.2mm slim body.
Expected to be in the market this May, the Xperia Z2 comes in three colors (Black, White, Purple) and costs P33,990.
Xperia Z2 Tablet
Apple’s Ipad Air should worry in the weight competition of the lightest tablets in the planet as Sony claims that its Xperia Z2 tablet is the world’s slimmest and lightest tablet.
The Z2 Tablet also uses Live Colour LED display for the best entertainment viewing experience, while on the other end it uses its original audio technology, the Sony’s Front Surround System combined with the DNC technology, a first in the tablet market.
Priced at P33,190, the Z2 Tablet that has the world’s fastest processor featuring also the Qualcomm Snapdragon will be available in April with a single color of black.
Xperia Z1C
Sony decided to release a pocket version of Z1 with the latest Z1 Compact that has the features of its predecessor but boosted with a handful of Social Camera apps including the Info-eye and Social live.
The Z1C is much like a competitor of Apple’s Iphone 5C that also comes in different colors.
Sony released four stylish colors of Z1C (black, white, lime and purple) with a suggested retail price of P25,490 that is already out in the market.
Sony SmartBand
With the hectic schedule of people nowadays, Sony provided users to track all their activities from the distance that they’ve walk or run, to the places they visited, music listened to, images captured, games played and books read, with its innovative Smartband Life log.
The Sony Smartband is a 24/7 wearable device that works best with Sony Xperia Z2 and records every single activity of the user which can be monitored by downloading the application from Google Play.
It comes in three different styles that suit every kind of user, the Classic Pack (Black, Blue, Brown), Active Pack (White, Baby Pink, Green), and Fashion Pack (Royal Blue, Yellow, Hot Pink) and soon to be in stores this May at P4,290.
