Set to hit ASUS's authorized dealers next week, the VivoTab features an 11.6" multi-touch HD display, Wacom digitizer stylus designed for note-taking and accomplishing office tasks, plus an Intel Atom dual-core processor.
The VivoTab's multi-touch capabilities provide fingertip control with Windows Store apps, while the Wacom digitizer stylus offers precision with Desktop apps.
When connected to its new Mobile Dock with streamlined hidden hinge design, VivoTab is instantly transformed into a notebook, complete with keyboard, large multi-touch touchpad and two USB 2.0 ports.
The Mobile Dock extends VivoTab's 10.5-hour battery life by up to nine hours, for 19 hours mobile use that is ideal for work and play.
The VivoTab is powered by a 1.8GHz Intel® Atom™ Z2760 dual-core processor that allows Windows 8 to run both, the latest software and legacy applications, giving users a wide choice of software for every need.
Also VivoTab's multi-touch display has a pin-sharp 1366 x 768 HD resolution, wide viewing angles and outdoor visibility, enabled by its Super IPS+ technology.
With a suggested retail price of P42,995, the VivoTab sports a sleek metallic design and is a mere 8.7mm thin and 675g light. It is equipped with Quad speakers with ASUS SonicMaster technology. And it also features an 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus, back-illuminated sensor and LED flash.
