Hunt’s suggested this one-dish pasta meal that is perfect, especially when you want something light but balanced at the same time. 

Crispy Fish with Tomato Pesto in Fusilli Pasta is sure to satisfy both your hunger and your craving.

Crispy Fish with Tomato Pesto in Fusilli Pasta

INGREDIENTS:

4 pcs. Cream Dory fillet or Tilapia fillet

2 tbsps. calamansi juice

2 tbsps. liquid seasoning

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 tbsps. corn oil

2 tbsps. butter

1 pc. onion, finely chopped

1 pack Hunt’s Spaghetti Sauce Basil and Cheese 1 kg.

1/4 cup white wine (optional)

12 pcs. basil leaves, thinly sliced

1kg. cooked fusilli pasta (or penne pasta)

PROCEDURE: 

1. Marinate the fish in calamansi juice and liquid seasoning.

2. Dredge the fish in flour, then deep-fry in hot oil until golden and crispy. Set aside.

3. In a large pan, heat butter and add onions. Pour in Hunt’s Spaghetti Sauce Basil & Cheese and white wine, and simmer for 10 minutes. Add basil last.

4. Toss the cooked pasta in tomato sauce, plate portions and serve with crispy fish.

*Makes 6 to 8 servings.
