MANILA, Philippines - The Peninsula Manila celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the “Art of Pink.” All of the Peninsula hotels worldwide hold a month of pink-infused art, dining and room experiences.
The hotel chain continues its partnership with the Philippine Foundation for Breast Care Inc. in its “Art of Pink” fundraising efforts.
Every night of October, The Peninsula Manila’s fountain, main entrances and guardian door lions are illuminated in pink.
There is an exclusive Peninsula in Pink ribbon pin for sale at a dedicated donation desk in The Lobby for P250. A portion from each pin sold is donated to the Philippine Foundation for Breast Care Inc. (PFBCI).
The Art of Pink Peninsula Afternoon Tea features rose-tinted sweet and savory treats presented on a tiered platter for P1,250, or from a buffet for P1,680. In addition, the Pink Afternoon Tea offers may be paired with a glass of rosé Champagne at P1,980 for the set or P2,350 for the buffet. For every The Art of Pink Peninsula Afternoon Tea sold, guests will receive a Peninsula in Pink ribbon pin and a donation will be made to the PFBCI.
A special themed pink dessert, “Pink Belle,” made of ivory chocolate, strawberry, mascarpone and Madagascar vanilla, is available for P490, including a Peninsula in Pink ribbon pin. More pink pastries are available at The Peninsula Boutique at P190 each. For every pink dessert sold, a donation will be made to the PFBCI.
There is a “Pinktini,” a pink cocktail priced at P600, including a Peninsula in Pink ribbon pin, and P400 without the pin. A pink mocktail, “Pinkilicious,” is available at P490 with a Peninsula in Pink ribbon pin, and P320 without the pin. For every drink sold, a donation will also be made to the PFBCI.
Ongoing until Oct. 31, room rates start at P11,000 where a P500 donation per night will be made to the PFBCI. The room package includes a The Art of Pink Peninsula Afternoon Tea (once per stay), a 15 percent discount on Franck Provost hair salon services and a buffet breakfast for two adults and two children (ages six and below) at Escolta.
