Victoria Harbour Cafe at Resorts World Manila

Resorts World Manila (RWM) recently opened Victoria Harbour Café, which offers authentic Hong Kong cuisine such as congee bowls, bun and toast combinations, noodle and veggie dishes, rice meal regulars, and an array of dim sum. One of the gems on the menu is char kway teow served two ways: one is topped with beef while the other is prepared Penang-style, which features spicy shrimp and chorizo toppings. Another favorite are the wonton noodle dishes served dry or doused in steaming, savory soup. Diners can pair an order of bun or toast with a basket of dim sum, both made in-house. The steamed honey barbecued pork pao, with its flavorful stuffing encased in a light and fluffy bun, goes perfectly with a serving of classic steamed siomai pork dumplings or a basket of steamed giant shrimp dumplings. Rice meals include steamed rice with spicy chicken curry or savory roast pork or chicken. An authentic Hong Kong dish is pak choy rice, rice spiced and sautéed in chicken stock and bok choy, served with tender beef brisket.

Victoria Harbour Café is on the ground floor of RWM’s main gaming area. For information, call 908-8833 or visit www.rwmanila.com.
