MANILA, Philippines - Carmelo “Melo” Santiago and his daughter chef Cristina Rivera recently unveiled Carmelo’s Wagyu Steaks, a modern fine dining resto.
Since establishing the first Melo’s Restaurant in 1988, Santiago has set the standard for every Manila steakhouse’s food quality and personalized fine-dining service. Chef Cristina earned her culinary diploma at California Culinary Academy in San Francisco.
View allCarmelo’s Wagyu Steaks offers an array of carefully concocted dishes. The restaurant offers not only certified Angus beef steaks but also Wagyu beef steaks from grade 7 to 10.
Other dishes on the menu include oysters served either fresh, Rockefeller or Florentine; stuffed Portobello mushrooms or lamb riblets. As for pastas, there are truffle oil pasta with Portobello mushroom, seafood agli olio. Seafood choices Chilean seabass and prawns thermidor. For dessert there is the Mi Camille, The Pearl and Mango Tier.
