I loveee Mamou!
I've been to a number of steak places and hotels, but I would say this is one of the best restaurants we have in the Metro.
The staff are so friendly and VERY VERY accommodating, which is really nice because compared to most of the steak houses I have been to, the staff would usually be quite snobbish!
And now the best part, the food!!!
While you order, they will serve you with warm bread and butter. It took us a bit to decide what to get and the waiter (wish I took his name because he is the nicest!) got us fresh warm bread! Now that is good service!
Their 28-Day Dry-aged T-Bone Steak was superb and to die for! We requested it medium and it was perfectly cooked! It was heavenly tender with the perfect steak flavour and it even comes with rock salt and steak sauce. This is easily the best meat I have ever had! I will definitely come back for this.
We had the mashed potato and broccoli with cheese for sides. The mashed potato was so buttery, creamy and was so good. The broccoli was so cheesy delicious! Perfect sides in my opinion.
Maine Lobster with Pia's Garlic Noodles: The lobster was so succulent and such a seafood heaven! You can choose either the lemon butter sauce or the vinegar dip. I just love, love, looove lobster and they cooked it to perfection! The garlic noodles were equally delicious, so tasty and garlicky!
Keylime Pie with Schlagsahne: This was the best dessert to end a perfect meal! The pie was perfectly tangy and sweet to refresh your palate. It was sooo good to have with coffee.
I just have to say that they serve really good coffee, too and would prefer theirs than Starbucks.
Certainly, one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. I will definitely come back for more taste of heaven!
