Good for two to three persons, the Patatim Feast includes Braised Patatim, Stuffed Pechay, Cilantro Lemongrass Rice and of course garlic all for P995.
Slowly cooked in sweet sauce to tenderize the pork leg (pata), the Braised Patatim is seasoned with delectable cinnamon bark and star anise, tossed with sugar and other spices to produce a mouthwatering dish with a sweet and thick sauce.
The six-piece stuffed pechay was a revelation for its exceptional taste as the slightly spicy coconut-based sauce is the perfect companion of the aligue (crab fat) and tapioca.
The leafy and green vegetable was rolled with ground pork but the distinct taste of tinapa (smoked fish) flakes really stood out.
