Flavors of Laguna and Batangas from Magnolia

MANILA, Philippines - Magnolia Ice Cream launched its newest flavors to promote the tourist spots and festivals of Laguna and Batangas provinces in line with the Philippine tourism campaign themed, “It’s more fun in the Philippines.”

Magnolia Ice Cream announced its “Best of the Philippines” (BOTP) flavors like macapuno banana and macapuno langka for the province of Laguna and coffee crumble and tsokolate tablea for the province of Batangas.

 “We are happy that these provinces agreed to be featured for our new Magnolia Ice Cream flavors. We are hitting two birds with one stone by promoting our new flavors and the country’s tourism program,” said Magnolia Ice Cream general Mayo Alcon at the launch attended by representatives from the two provinces along with DOT secretary Ramon Jimenez. “These flavors are Laguna and Batangas’ very own and Magnolia Ice Cream lovers will surely enjoy these while visiting these beautiful tourist spots,“ Alcon added.

The tubwrap of Laguna’s macapuno banana and macapuno langka flavors features tourist spots Rizal Shrine, Hidden Valley, Pagsanjan Falls, St. Peter Alcantara Church and Mt. Makiling as well as the Anakalang and Luisiana Pandan Festivals.

The Batangas tubwrap highlights the Mt. Carmel Church in Lipa City, Taal Park, Calaruega Church, Jaybanga Lobo, Taal Volcano, Ambon-Ambon Falls, Malabrigo Lighthouse, Fantasy World, Mt. Malarayat, Acuatico San Juan Laiya and Cintal Coritos Garden Resort along with the Ala Eh Festival.
