Exciting, fun-filled weekends at Centris Walk this September

Jazz up your Saturday nights with “Jazz at the Walk — A Prelude” on Sept. 2, 3 and 9 at 7 p.m.

Sway to the rhythm of the country’s up and coming jazz artists John Ray with the Jazz to Riches and Next Level Band.

Get your ultimate musical high as “Jazz at the Walk — The Big Night” ” culminates its jazzy weekends on Sept. 10. It will feature the Manila Artiste Festival with pianist and contemporary jazz icon Boy Katindig, who will play his signature “smooth jazz” numbers from 7 to 11 p.m.

Spread peace through arts and rhythm with Centris Walk’s celebration of the International Day of Peace in Manila on Sept. 17. Join the global “virtual hug” in promoting peace and goodwill with the “7 Rhymes of Peace: International Day of Peace in Manila.” Immerse yourself in various expressions and symbols of peace via a Photo Walk On-the-Spot Gallery, get the basics on Mandala Writing and sit in for some poetry reading sessions, which start at 8 a.m. Then groove to the Drum Jam and Concert at 8 p.m. to culminate the celebration.

Celebrate with the whole family at ClawDaddy, Asya, Zong, My Thai, Pho Hoa, Pancake House, Jack’s Loft, Yang Chow Dimsum and Tea House, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and Tutti Frutti. Opening soon are Choi Garden and Tong Yang.

Swing by the weekend markets like the Sidcor Sunday Market, Quezon City’s longest-running weekend market, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Food Bowl Night Market Fridays and Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 12 m.n, and Sundays from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
