The flavors of Indonesia at Diamond Hotel

Diamond Hotel Philippines features the scintillating flavors of Indonesia’s cuisine from August 16 to 28 as it continues its series of food festivals with the launch of Selamat Menikmati: A Culinary Journey of Indonesia’s Best. Coinciding with the celebration of Indonesia’s national day, the event will showcase culinary masterpieces by master chefs from Bandung, Indonesia, to be featured at the Corniche restaurant’s lunch and dinner buffet.

A taste of Indonesia: Gado-gado, a vegetarian delight, will be featured at Corniche’s Indonesian festival.

    Three of Hilton Bandung’s talented Indonesian chefs will be flown to Manila to recreate their country’s flavors for Corniche’s buffet. Headed by sous chef Ovan Prahoro, the powerhouse team will be joined by chefs de partie Asep Marthy and Agus Setiadi.

    Indonesian cuisine offers a wide variety of distinct dishes — from curried meat and vegetables to indigenous food, from mild to intensely spiced-up fare. Gracing Corniche’s buffet are, for instance, beef rendang (beef stew with spicy coconut milk), mie goreng (stir fried noodle dish), satay (skewered grilled meat), and gado gado (mixed vegetable salad with peanut dressing).
