There’s halo-halo special (P118), halo-halo regular (Guagua, P84), minatamis na saguin with sago (P51), mais con hielo (P56), gulaman at sago (P60), buko salad (P90), and a variety of fresh tropical fruit shakes selection — ripe and green mango, buko (coconut), melon, watermelon, ubas (grapes), and pineapple — at P73 each.
The restaurant also features the Ispesyal ning Bale (house specialty), which includes merienda fare such as bibingka with quesong puti or queso de bola and salted egg (P96), and puto bumbong with grated coconut and mascuvado (P90).
The Ispesyal na Handa selection includes tofu sisig (P96), which is a light and healthy alternative to the usual sisig; Sisig ni Mely (P107) served cold and wrapped in banana leaf; the lengua in mushroom sauce (P236); and the best-seller kare-kare buntot ng baka (ox tail, P247) which comes with thick and rich sauces.
Mangan’s food is simple yet so delicious and down-to-earth. It is hearty comfort food that hits the spot. The Kapampangan word for it is “manyaman!”
