MANILA, Philippines - Cinderella, one of the forerunners in fashion and retail in the Philippines, recently opened its redesigned store in Glorietta.
Cinderella chief executive officer Arthur G. Coronel sought the help of International Retail Design Consultants from Hong Kong, led by Red Goodss, to refresh the Cinderella brand and retail store design for the future. The design objective: to create something with no boundaries while staying true to the brand’s roots. Cinderella founding director Therese Santos played an integral role in formulating the new strategy, vision, and the idea behind the new design.
The store’s animated and vibrant exterior now features horizontal screens that promote Cinderella’s fashion and lifestyle concept, as well as house brands. The screens can also be found in-store and at checkout entrances.
A “less is more” principle is seen on the blank white canvas to highlight a theater-inspired setting. The minimalist design has allowed the brand to create specialist zones within the store and furnish it with eclectic fixtures and pieces of furniture that resulted in a contemporary but timeless Cinderella.
Cinderella also features the return of Martin Bautista for the brand’s holiday collection. This time, Bautista reinvented classic separates by way of modern and boxy silhouettes as well as strategically placed slits on tops and skirts.
Cinderella’s house brands include Esprit, Mexx, British India, Clarks, PrettFit, Pierre Cardin, Cinderella Teens, Cinderella Women, and Zach & Ross.
Cinderella is also located at Alabang Town Center, SM Megamall, VMall, Filinvest, SM MOA, Robinsons Ermita, Lucky China Town Mall, Abreeza, and Sta. Lucia.
