GO COMMANDO: 'No Panty Day'

MANILA, Philippines - Tomorrow is the day when ladies are dared to bare it all, because apparently, according to social media, June 22 is “No Panty Day.”

On the said day, the ladies are encouraged to feel the inherent freedom, literally and figuratively, by liberating themselves from the social taboo.

“No Panty Day” is a participatory holiday created by anonymous people on the social media two years ago. Although the organizers of this peculiar affair are unidentified, it is believed to be patterned from “No Pants Day,” which is celebrated every first Friday of May.

Interestingly, a Philippine-based Facebook page was even created for the event, which just proves that even some Filipinos are aware of the “No Panty Day.” And because tomorrow is “No Panty Day,” Twitter is once again in a frenzy.
