MANILA, Philippines - Trust the Tantocos to keep the Philippine retail scene always exciting. Their latest store is international brand Old Navy with its first-ever franchise locations in Manila. Stores Specialists Inc. (SSI) launched Old Navy’s sprawling three-floor flagship boutique in Bonifacio High Street.
The eyes of the hip and the stylish are on Old Navy this spring, as the legendary stateside brand sends classic Americana on a forward march. With key looks like nautical, army surplus, cowboy bandanas, and folksy dresses on the rise, Old Navy invades our fashion consciousness and our closets in the hottest season of the year.
SSI executive vice president Anton Huang led the ribbon cutting together with his wife Nina and daughters Nikki and Isabelle, chairman emeritus of Rustan Group of Companies Ambassador Bienvenido R. Tantoco Sr., US Ambassador to the Philippines Philip Goldberg, Old Navy International executive vice president Robert Frank and Old Navy Franchise general manager Blair Dunn.
Rustan Group of Companies president Zenaida Tantoco, SSI general manager Elizabeth Quiambao, Maritess Tantoco-Enriquez, and Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala lent their support as well.
Old Navy is all about bringing fun and fashion for the whole family. Joining this celebration were well-known personalities, who wore their personal choices from Old Navy, including Cheska Kramer with her adorable kids Kendra, Scarlett and Gavin, Rissa and Paolo Trillo with kids Celestia and Enzo, G Tongi and Tim Walters with kids Sakura and Kenobi, Mika and Chucho Martinez with kids Noelle and Tyler, Steph Kienle with daughter Andrea, Christine Sandejas with kids Gabby, Nina and Jaime, and Rosanna and Marco Rodriguez with son Alejandro. Also seen at the event wearing Old Navy were KC Montero, Andi Manzano-Reyes and fashion bloggers David Guison and Patricia Prieto.
