Chris Diaz goes romantic for Ensembles

MANILA, Philippines - Ensembles collaborates with one of today’s most celebrated fashion designers, Chris Diaz, for a capsule collection this holiday season, the fourth installment of its Young Designer Series.

Ensembles by Chris Diaz holiday 2012 collection is a perfect balance of wearability and artistry. The collection pays homage to Diaz’ design aesthetic with romanticism taking center stage with lace, soft fabrics and color blocking. The 17-piece collection includes standout dresses and blazers, chiffon and poplin tops, dresses and skirts.

Triple treat: Navy, purple, Bordeaux and bright reds make one sophisticated palette.

Ensembles endorser Carmina Villarroel loved the pieces that she wore from the collection for the brand’s latest campaign. “I personally love the color-blocked pieces because they made me look slimmer! The entire collection is so fab, from the color selection, the design, the fabrics –– versatile yet very sophisticated,” the actress said.

Chris Diaz, who met Carmina for the first time, shared, “It was surreal. Seeing her in my clothes made me teary-eyed, most especially when she raved about how she loves the collection.”

Carmina and the theme of the collection –– romanticism –– are a perfect fit. Despite her very busy schedule having a primetime soap and talk show, endorsements and her own footwear business (munizshoes.com), her aura radiates nothing but bliss and love. Her bubbly personality and a very happy married and family life are key. “I am very blessed to have the best of both worlds, a great family and career,” she said. Zoren’s foiled proposal plan during their recent Japan trip was revealed to the public and Carmina admitted that she truly appreciated her partner’s effort to make the trip memorable, saying that they are already planning to wed very soon. Like most of us, Carmina was affected by the recent calamity brought about by habagat rains. “Our home was flooded during the habagat, but not as bad as Ondoy. We had to stay in the hotel for few days, but thank God we’re all safe,” Carmina shared. The rainbow after the rain? Her primetime teleserye Lorenzo’s Time, a nationwide hit with high TV ratings, continues to win over the hearts of viewers.

Ensembles and Carmina Villarroel represent empowered and fulfilled women.
