Juliet would have loved these gems

MANILA, Philippines - Verona in northern Italy is known as the setting for the most famous love story in history: Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. But it’s also known for the opera at the Arena, the ancient Roman amphitheatre; and a rich artistic heritage which has made it a UNESCO World Heritage site.

This city of art and romance is home to jewelry designer Beatrice Luperini who is inspired by Baroque and vintage pieces to create intricate jewelry that speaks to the woman of today. Pearls, gems, enamels, biscuit filigrees and cameos are used to make articulated bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings that are statement pieces to dress up the current pared-down looks seen on the runways. Referencing history but still in touch with what’s current, Luperini’s pieces have a timeless quality that will always look chic and will never go out of fashion.

The jewels of Beatrice Luperini are available at Firma at G/F Greenbelt 3 Ayala Center. Call 757-4009 or e-mail firma2@vasia.com for details.
