Dear Rissa,
I am a mother of two kids and already feel the effects of age creeping up on me. Makeup does not glide on my skin anymore, especially on the eye area. It sometimes looks dry and crepey. The eye wrinkles are so unflattering and they are even more enhanced when I have makeup on. I can’t afford surgery or expensive treatments. Is there a makeup trick or product that can make my eyes look younger?

For younger-looking eyes in a blink, you must try Becca Line and Pore Corrector (exclusively available at Adora Department Store, Greenbelt 5). This soft-focus primer provides an amazingly smooth base for makeup to glide over. It’s perfect to use on the eye area because it instantly minimizes lines and provides a smooth base for makeup application. I was out of the country recently for work and because of a hectic schedule and only three hours of sleep each night, my eyes became terribly dry — I never saw so many fine lines in my eye area! The Becca Line and Pore Corrector was such a lifesaver and kept me looking fresh when I needed to. I would just lightly pat it under the eyes and set it with powder. It instantly bid wrinkles goodbye and made me look like I had eight hours of beauty sleep! For women with older skin and under-eye circles with fine lines, this product will be an eye-opening experience!
More reasons to love it: it can be used on the lips and lip area to reduce lines, smooth lips and lock in moisture. Keep this clever product handy in your bag because it doubles as a liquid powder for on-the-go shine reduction throughout the day. Just use it lightly over makeup to refresh and mattify the T-zone. For those with sensitive skin, worry not because this is oil-free, fragrance-free, preservative- and paraben-free.

Rx: Foundation With Good Coverage
Dear Lucy,
I always break out with foundation, but my skin tone is uneven and I really need to wear it every day. Any suggestions?
Rosenne
Please try mineral makeup. It comes highly recommended because aside from giving good coverage, it is non-comedogenic so it does not clog pores and cause pimples. It feels very light on the skin and will not give you a heavy, cakey finish. I am partial to Bare Minerals, but there are so many other well-loved brands out there with a mineral line I am sure you will have no trouble finding one that you will take to wonderfully. A word of caution, though: always do a patch test first just so you are sure you do not develop any allergies. Lucy
