MANILA, Philippines - Stylish, sporty and innovative are words that describe Ferrari Eyewear’s latest collection, which was launched recently at One Esplanade in an event dubbed as “Face a New Passion.”
The Optoline Inc., headed by its VP and managing director Marivic Lakhmani and her husband president Kardy Lakhmani, presented the latest shades from the legendary brand in a venue dressed up like a Modena, Italy mini-racetrack, with the simulated tracks serving as the red carpet for VIPs such as SM Department Store executives Kenner Chua, Jeffrey Lo and Eduardo Ponce, as well as celebrities such as Bea Alonzo, Karylle, Paolo and Suzie Abrera, and Michael V.
The fashion show was directed by Jed Velasco and the models walked the catwalk in ensembles created by Jeff Rogador and SM Department Store. It was also the ramp debut of Harvey Lakhmani, the 16-year-old son of the owners.
The event also featured some of the company’s other brands such as Montblanc, Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, and Dsquared2 Eyewear, among others.
