Graduation 2006: What and wear

Hi, Lucy!

I’m a graduating student and for our graduation this March, we’re required to wear corporate attire. What should I wear?

The Graduate 2006

I think your best bet would be a smart dress suit. And because it is a celebratory occasion, you can wear a silk top under your jacket. The cut of your jacket is important so make sure you pick one with a great fit. You can also wear a tailored dress in a no-nonsense style, no frills, just a clean, classic cut in a solid color. For jewelry, you can wear pearls and wear pumps to pull together your look. Congratulations on your graduation in advance.

Handy Tip On Hand Wrinkles
Dear Tingting,

I’m 29 and working in a library. I’m concerned about my hand wrinkles. Is there any lotion or oil I can massage my hands with to lessen the wrinkles?

Enen

Dr. Vermen Verallo has a P550 liquid Retin-A and virgin coconut oil concoction (available at her skincare clinics). It’s just super. I see her during Mass and I can’t help but notice her young, smooth arms and hands. And to think she’s sixtysomething!

Spotting Age Spots
Dear Mary,

I’m in my mid-30s. I’ve noticed that as I get older, more and more freckles appear on my face. What can I do to make these freckles disappear? I don’t want to use concealers because I want to have a natural look.

May I also know what’s the best hairstyle for women with small faces?

Annie

What you call freckles are really age spots. What you can do is to apply a bleach cream on your face at night.

Go to Rustan’s Essenses or Rustan’s cosmetics division and check out their anti-aging creams and concealers.

For a woman with a small face, the right haircut is one that’s as short as the chin line. This will give an illusion of length.
