MANILA, Philippines - British Ambassador Stephen Lillie and his wife Denise hosted a party in their North Forbes residence recently in celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s 87th birthday. “As two like-minded island nations, joined by a common language and shared values of democracy, freedom and private enterprise, our countries’ futures together hold real promise and potential,†said Ambassador Lillie in his speech.
The short program was capped with a toast to the happiness and well being of the Filipino people, and to continuing friendship between the United Kingdom and the Philippines.
