MANILA, Philippines - From crisp Chardonnays to bold Cabernets, Hyatt Hotel and Casino Manila, and the Philippine Wine Merchants offered life’s simplest – yet grandest – pleasure with an intimate wine dinner showcasing Montes’ exceptional New World wines from the vineyards of Chile last March at the hotel’s refined grillroom, The Fireplace, where guests were able to learn more about Chile’s pride from Wine Master Eduardo Stark. Eduardo personally presented a vertical tasting of Montes’ finest collection, featuring Montes Limited Selection Sauvignon Blanc, Montes Late Harvest Gewurztraminer, Montes Alpha Chardonnay and Montes Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon.
The vertical tasting treated guests to several vintages of the same wine side-by-side, allowing guests to discover the evolution of wines as they mature. A luxurious five-course dinner menu prepared by the hotel’s Executive Chef, Josef Miklavc, and The Fireplace’s Sous Chef, Noel Bejasa, complemented the exceptional dining experience.
