Century Park Hotel awards top accounts

MANILA, Philippines - For its recent Top Accounts Awards night, Century Park Hotel adopted a Korean theme. The ballroom was fully packed with guests and staff gamely dressed in Korean-Pop costumes in the tradition of F4 (Flower Four) fashion. Korean music videos played the whole time. An entrance surrounded with bright lights welcomed awardees and friends. 

This year, a total of 32 awardees composed of companies from the corporate and travel industries, including those who received special recognition, were awarded beautiful metal trophies. For Top Corporate Volume the top accounts were Westmont Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Nawras Manpower, Gulf Air and Jaminah International Manpower.

For Top Corporate Group, the Philippine Tennis Association, Jo Tankers Phils., Inc. and Progressive Mason Club Inc.

For Top Corporate Convention, Cathay Drug Co., Inc., Glaxo Smith Kline and AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals Phils., Inc.

For Top Ecozone Account, Ulvac Philippines.

Top Free Independent Travelers Accounts included Attic Tours Phils., Inc., Friendship Tours & Resort Corp., and ARS Dream Co., Ltd.

For Top Group Incentive Tour Accounts, Hana Tour and Travel, Inc., Nubeeda Travel & Tour Services, and Golf en Sky Tour & Travel.

Top Airline Accounts were Philippine Airlines and Airphil Express.

Top Banquet Accounts were Philippine Judicial Academy, Diabetes Philippines and the Department of Health.

Special recognition was granted to Asia Brewery’s brand manager Francis Tan, advertising manager Paul Lim of Tanduay Distiller’s Inc., senior manager of Lamoiyan Corporation Peter Paul Ang, Robert Yu, president of Powerline, Manabu Mitsui, manager of Unique Distributing Corp., Benjamin Nones, sales manager Irvi Barcelon of Nestle Ice Cream, marketing supervisor of Grand Alpatech Charmaine Leon, and Lualhati Fausto of The Philippine STAR.

Kring Elenzano, one of the founders of the Philippine K-pop committee, co-hosted the affair with print, ramp and commercial model Lance Salvosa. The event kicked off with the welcome address of Century Park’s general manager Philippe Bartholomi thanking the hotel’s accounts for a fruitful 2010.

Guests were also in for a surprise as the hotel raffled off a roundtrip ticket to New Delhi, India, courtesy of Philippine Airlines and a South Sea pearl pendant worth P25,000 from Jewelmer.
