Run with nature at Greenfield on May 29

MANILA, Philippines - Change your racecourse this summer and enjoy an out-of-the-city at the Greenfield City Clean Air Run on May 29. Now in its third year, the Greenfield City Clean Air Run in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, gives runners the chance to enjoy fresh air and the great outdoors. Away from the cramped and polluted city, participants run in open spaces, lush greenery, vibrant parks, and breathtaking sceneries while keeping themselves fit and healthy.

The 2nd leg of the RunRio Series Manila, the Greenfield City Clean Air Run is open to participants of all ages, featuring four race categories: 500m dash for children ages five to 12 years old, 5k, 10k and 21k. Runners will experience Greenfield City’s Park-Living environment and will be introduced to its residential, retail and business parks right outside Metro Manila.

Interested participants can register at ROX in Bonifacio High Street, Toby’s SM Mall of Asia, Planet Sports-Glorietta, Planet Sports-TriNoma, The Athletes Foot-Alabang Town Center, The Athlete’s Foot-Robinsons Galleria, and Paseo de Sta. Rosa, Sta. Rosa, Laguna until today, May 15. Late registration period is from May 16 to May 22, 2011 at ROX-Bonifacio High Street, Toby’s SM Mall of Asia, and Planet Sports-TriNoma.

Apart from the Greenfield City Clean Air Run, the Greenfield City Sports Fest will hold two other sporting events. Today, May 15, Greenfield City hosts the first Greenfield City Football Cup in partnership with Manila Soccer Academy (MSA). The football cup is open to participants four years old and up. On May 19 to May 22, Greenfield City is hosting the first Greenfield City Baseball and Softball Invitational in partnership with Junior Baseball and Softball Foundation of the Philippines (JBSFP) and Pure Play. Targeted to be an annual event, the invitational is open to grade school and high school students of local and foreign teams.
