Van den Bergh’s visit included a short tour of IS Manila’s new state-of-the-art facilities with ISM’s board of trustees headed by its president, Aernout van der Gaag and superintendent David Toze. He spoke to the school‘s Model United Nations delegates about the need to balance monetary aid with productive investment and the importance of overall good governance. He commented on the need to attract companies whose policies reflect a social conscience and exercise social responsibility.
