APO Floors supports performing arts with dance studio renovation

MANILA, Philippines - The Quezon City Performing Arts Development Foundation Inc. (QCPADFI), which has been developing underprivileged young talents from the city in the field of dancing, singing and music for the past 19 years, was recently renovated as part of a project of the graduating Interior Design class of the University of the Philippines and APO Floors, which donated and installed the tiles.

The UP students call the project the Pirouette Movement, which also covered the renovation of the Dance Forum’s studio. Damaged from years of use, the QCPADFI studio now has a new look, with APO Floors’ butternut oak and caster block tiles under the brand’s Floors Mimicri Wood Classic Series.

“APO Floors believes in promoting Philippine culture,” says Missy Castro, communication services manager of APO Floors, in explaining the company’s support for the project. “And helping out the UP Interior Design class in renovating the QCPADFI dance studio is a great opportunity for us to reach us and do our part in society.”
