The Congressional Spouses Foundation holds benefit exhibit

MANILA, Philippines - The Congressional Spouses Foundation Inc. (CSFI) and Art Gallery Asia mount “Sining sa Kongreso 3,” the annual art exhibit of the works of Filipino masters and contemporary artists, which opens today at the South Wing Lobby of the House of Representatives. The show runs until Sept. 21

Proceeds from the exhibit will benefit the calamity victims and women under CSFI’s scholarship program. This charity event is under the leadership of QC Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte, Mons Romulo, and Paula Bondoc.

The artworks on exhibit are by Jose Joya, Arturo Luz, Elizalde Navarro, Federico Aguilar Alcuaz, Anita Magsaysay Ho, Ramon Orlina, Eduardo Castrillo, Cesar Legaspi, Juvenal Sanso, Vicente Manansala, Romulo Galicano, Onib Olmedo, Macario Vitalis, Rene Robles, Justin Nuyda, Emmanuel Garibay,Antonio Leano, Lao Lianben, Norma Belleza, Mario Parial, Jeff Dizon, Prudencio Lamarroza, Michael Cacnio, Elmer Borlongan, Juanito Torres, Rasco, J.Morada, Caloy Gernale, Farley del Rosario, Jerson Samson, Rene Cuvos, Nelson Bosita, Josue Mangrobang, Malyn Bonayog, Ian Quirante, Mark Arcamo, P.J. The exhibit, which is now in its third year after a series of successful mountings of the show in the House of Representatives, will have its opening cocktails today at 2 p.m. It will be supported by Congressman Manny Pacquiao and wife Jinky, Wilson Tieng, Margie Duavit, Caloocan City Mayor Recom Echeverri, QC Mayor Herbert Bautista, and Philippine STAR president and CEO Miguel Belmonte.
