A fine French dinner

A unique experience in itself is the wine-dinner event held regularly at Lung Hin, the Cantonese restaurant of Marco Polo Ortigas, Manila. Just recently, the hotel brought in one of the world’s best selections of French wines in the Philippines under the Maison Louis Latour distributor.

The dinner was well attended by society’s finest along with the hotel’s top accounts and other key stakeholders. Some of the most notable pairings of the night were the steamed lobster meat in egg white with truffle sauce partnered with the 2012 Chateau De Blagny, Mersault-Blagny; and the pan-fried black pepper Wagyu beef cubes paired with the 2013 Marsannay.

We have to thank Marco Polo Ortigas, Manila general manager Frank Reichenbach, Wine Warehouse Corp. chairman Brett Tolhurst, Marco Polo Ortigas, Manila director of F&B Mirko de Giorgi, executive chef Lluis Cantons, and director of marketing communications Judith Los Baños for making it an evening to remember.

Besides the monthly wine events at Lung Hin, Marco Polo Ortigas, Manila is also set to launch the restaurant’s Imperial Set Menu next month.

See you there!
