Some of the most benevolent hearts of society, with a united goal of helping those in need, recently gathered for the opening of the 2014 Best Dressed Women of the Philippines photo exhibit at the Greenbelt 5 Fashion Walk in Makati City.
It was indeed a remarkable occasion with Philippine Cancer Society (PCS) chairman Dr. Roberto Paterno and event chairperson Angola Consul Helen Ong along with the ever-dedicated selection and organizing committee members leading the way. Headlining the display of beauty and generosity, with support from the Camera Club of the Philippines, is this year’s batch of compassionate ladies led by Style Icons Bulacan Rep. Linabelle Ruth Villarica, Myrna Tang Yao and Marife Zamora.
This year’s awardees are Annette Gozon-Abrogar, Catherine Arambulo-Antonio, Santa Rosa City Mayor Arlene Arcillas, Pagsanjan, Laguna Mayor Girlie “Maita” Ejercito, Kim Haw, Pauline Laverne Lim, Biñan City Mayor Len Alonte-Naguiat, Lynette Padolina, Jennifer Helen Weigel Sarmiento, Elizabeth Ventura and Ofelia Nuñez-Wadle.
Also participating in this charitable event were the supportive Ambassadors for Life, Lartizan for the delicious cocktail fare and Alessi Philippines represented by Johanna Conlin, who provided the raffle prizes.
The photo exhibit is the curtain raiser for the biggest fundraising charity ball of PCS, the 2014 Best Dressed Women of the Philippines Annual Awards Ball, whose sponsors include Marc Coblen Watches, CATS Motors and 105.1 Crossover FM. The awards ball is on Sept. 24 at Makati Shangri-La’s Rizal Ballroom.
Cheers to the 2014 Best Dressed Women of the Philippines! Here’s to more years of lending a helping hand to our countrymen!
