MANILA, Philippines - The centenary year of the College of the Holy Spirit Manila (CHSM) kicked off in February 2013 with the theme “Spirit Ablaze,†which was a retrospective of the 100-year history of the S.Sp.S. (Servants of the Holy Spirit) congregation; how it grew from a tiny provincial school in northern Luzon, to branch out into many regional private schools, with the one in Mendiola, Manila as one of its “showcases.â€
After this glimpse into the past, the closing celebration in 2014 led by the College and High School Golden Jubilarians for 2014 now look forward to the next 100 years and beyond to “One Brighter World,†capitalizing on the trail blazed by the sisters and highlighting its alumni’s contributions to society and the world.
