MANILA, Philippines - Before the onset of the rainy season, there was “Fun in the Sun Run.”
Anson’s, the leading appliance and technology hub in Metro Manila, hosted the fun run last May 27 at the Venice Piazza in McKinley Hill, Taguig City. The event aimed to promote family, fun and healthy living. With Devant as one of its partners, the event was filled with fun as hosts of the radio show The Boys Night Out entertained the crowd.
To further challenge and excite the 10k and 16k runners, an extreme run with a vertical component was added. Runners in these levels had to run up an eight-storey parking building during the course of the race! To celebrate the end of summer, the event came alive with numerous games and festivities, which were held throughout the event. Anson’s culminated the event with a grand raffle that gave all the participants a chance to win exciting prizes.
Participants not only enjoyed a one-of-a-kind race experience, but also helped the Cancer & Hematology Center of the Philippine Children’s Medical Center, the beneficiary of Anson’s Fun in the Sun Run 2012.
Devant, widely noted for bringing viewing experience to new heights, brings to the forefront its LEDTech LCD TV sets, which boast of crystal clear definition and stunning images. It is the first time in the Philippines that a digital TV already equipped with a built-in ISDB-T receiver is launched.
