90 resounding cheers for CWC

“Peace is a daily, a weekly, a monthly process, gradually changing opinions, slowly eroding old barriers, quietly building new structures.” — John Fitzgerald Kennedy

Celebrating 90 years of service and commitment to helping those in need is the prestigious Makati-based Catholic Women’s Club (CWC) headed by its affable and brilliant president Mimi Valerio. Held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Makati, the CWC annual ball entitled Extravaganza 2011 was highlighted by the CWC ladies who outdid themselves with a presentation that honored the lifetime members who have been active in the organization for the past 25 years. This is also CWC’s way of paying tribute to the past presidents of the club as well as to the projects such as “Casa Y Jardin” and “Clothes for a Cause” and celebrating partnerships with its numerous beneficiaries.

A plethora of impressive prizes were also raffled off to some lucky members of the club. The CWC ladies, headed by the organizing committee chairperson Nonie Basilio, also expressed their gratitude to the generous co-presentors CATS Motors Philippines, Inc. led by president Felix Ang and Aficionado Germany Perfumes under the helm of its president and CEO Joel Cruz.

Congratulations to CWC for continuously helping to make this world a better place to live in! Here’s to the next 90 years to come!
