“A man of honor should never forget what he is because he sees what others are.” — Baltasar Gracian
After the successful presentation of credentials to King Juan Carlos of Spain at the elegant Royal Palace in Madrid, hardworking Philippine Ambassador to Spain Ana Ugarte recently hosted a “Vino de Honor” party at the Philippine Embassy Residences. The elegant affair was a gathering of prominent figures from the society, business and diplomatic circles who partook in a vibrant celebration of good relations and camaraderie!
Enhorabuena!
That’s what friends are truly for
A birthday bash for adorable celebrator Tess Castro was recently organized by Consul Helen Ong together with Baby Ortiz, Marietha Holmgren, Roi Philipps, Lydia Reyes and Mabel Abaño at the Clubhouse of Valle Verde 6. The banquet hall was filled to the brim with well wishers headed by her husband Bert Castro and two sons, Manolet and Toni including co-members from the Society for Cultural Enrichment, Inc., Club Bulakeño, CWC, Zonta, FCCP, Citibankers, former classmates and neighbors from Green Meadows. The highlight of the evening was when everybody sang That’s What Friends Are For. Indeed, it was an unforgettable tribute for a truly loved lady of substance.
Happy birthday, Tess!
