Multi-awarded actress Dina Bonnevie, versatile film and television actress Jean Garcia and up-and-coming star Glaiza De Castro value beauty and wellness amidst their busy schedules as celebrities. They are the women of Bioessence.
D-Day radiance
Showbiz personality and entrepreneur Dina Bonnevie always gives beauty and wellness a vibrant twist. Through the years, Dina awes the public with her beauty and charm.
One would inevitably wonder how Dina manages to maintain her youthful charm. “The essence of life is all in the balance. Beauty is only skin-deep. More than pampering our bodies, what’s actually more important is how we pamper our minds with positive thoughts and channel those ideas into the real world,” Dina shares.
The accomplished actress firmly believes in the mind-body connection. “The real secret to total wellness really lies in our minds, first and foremost. Many people seem to have the wrong notion that we can just ‘chisel away’ our imperfections, and then maybe we’d look a little better. Maybe you can look thin temporarily, but what you failed to address is the insatiable gluttony that caused all those excess fats in the first place.”
Aside from a healthy lifestyle, Ms. D maintains her healthy glow through regular treatments at Bioessence Facial and Slimming Center.
“The rigors of a hectic showbiz schedule can often upset your regular workout routine. That’s why it’s always a great help to go somewhere where you can recharge in a jiffy. Bioessence does that for me, and they’ve been a great help in making me look and feel good,” Dina says.
Looking young all the time
Versatile film and television actress Jean Garcia does not look her age, thanks to her simple rules for a youthful glow.
She handles the demands of various show biz engagements and motherly roles to her two children by maintaining a balanced diet; sleeping six to eight hours daily; hydrating with lots of water and pure, fruit juices; and regular exercise.
Jean loves to be pampered the Bioessence way. “When I’m busy, I go to Bioessence once a month. As much as I have time, I go twice a month or sometimes, I go once a week. Given a chance, I would love to have my treatments once a week. It’s not just treatments for me, it’s also relaxation,” Jean says.
“I love Bioessence. They’ve been very, very nice to me. They’ve been very accommodating. I practically tried all their treatments. The people are trained abroad and that makes them very good,” she adds.
Glow of youth
Glaiza is the first endorser of Facial Plus, Bioessence’s face, body and skin clinic for the youth.
The 19-year-old celebrity considers her being an endorser of this beauty company as an opportunity to encourage her peers to take care of their skin. “We sometimes take our skin for granted. Because of staying up late and unhealthy eating habits, we oftentimes have pimple breakouts and bad skin. I am glad that there is Facial Plus to help us. It has services and products that are not only especially formulated for young skin but are also budget-friendly,” Glaiza says.
Dr. Emma Guerrero, founder and president of Bioessence, explains that the three women epitomize beauty in versatile age levels and dynamic lifestyles.
“Skin care and aging start at 35. If you want to look ten years younger, you start early. If you want your eye bags not sagging at age 50, you start early,” Guerrero says. — Ildefonso A. Reyes
