When Antonio “Jan” Garcia was given the challenge to come up with a modern Japanese-inspired collection, he quickly researched on old films from Kurosawa to the ‘70s TV show Shintaro.
Shares Garcia, “The mood is contemporary RTW as shown with interchangeable separates. There’s a lot of contrast and light layering to show texture. Fabrication includes transparent organdy used over black dyed chambray, white twill and raw silk which are interplayed with smooth and tight jersey.”
