Amidst the many gems in Manila’s society, one truly precious jewel stood out on her special day — Baby Cruz. A grand celebration was held at Conway’s in the Makati Shangri-La Hotel to mark Baby Cruz’s 60th birthday. With much support from her friends and family, including her charming son Boey Cruz, lovely daughter Tisha Cruz-Bautista, son-in-law lawyer Andy Bautista and her three beloved grandchildren Alvaro, Xavier and Matteo Bautista, the party was truly an unforgettable one. The evening featured a variety of delectable dishes and drinks, spectacular performances by Jay Cayuca, Isay Alvarez and Robert Sena and a special video presentation highlighting treasures, memories and people in Baby’s life. Also, in lieu of gifts, guests were requested to make donations to the evening’s beneficiary, the ISDANCO Foundation, which was established by the celebrator and long-time friends Ising and Danny Vazquez. Such generosity and thoughtfulness are two of the many sparkling qualities of the pearl of great price.
