Town in heaven

“The important work of moving the world forward  does not wait to be done by perfect men.” — George Eliot

The Dusit Thani Manila, Philippines was officially launched just recently at the Grand Ballroom of the newly renovated hotel. Notable guests were welcomed to the majestic event by the Dusit Thani International SVP Octavio Gamarra, Philippine Hoteliers Inc. president Gerhard Kropp and Dusit Thani Manila hotel manager Frank Grassmann. A sumptuous feast highlighted the best of what a Dusit Thani hotel, which literally means a town in heaven, is known for other than its worldwide recognition for international standard facilities and high quality service.

Congratulations on a truly successful launch and spectacular evening!

Feliz cumpleaños, Lucille!

Lucille Villanueva celebrated her birthday with a series of small gatherings with some of her closest friends and family. The festivities began with a luncheon at Sugi with her Manila Polo Club tennis group followed by a home-made meal prepared by the celebrator for her former classmates at the College of the Holy Spirit. The chef in Lucille was inspired once more as she hosted a Spanish-themed dinner in her home and a Thai luncheon for her Assumption classmates. Special guests during the birthday celebration included Sen. Mar Roxas, Vivian Yuchengco, O.V. and Marilen Espiritu.

It was a truly festive week and to Lucille, happy birthday!

Greetings

Happy birthday to our celebrators today, Mandy Eduque, Panfilo Domingo, Eva Abesamis and former Sen. Loi Ejercito Estrada.

Advance birthday greetings to Ramon “RJ” Jacinto, June 3; Karen Macasaet, June 4; former Sen. Ramon Magsaysay Jr., June 5; Eduardo Lopez Jr. and Candida Tenorio, June 6; Robert Mananquil, June 7.
