The circus is in town as Guatemala Consul General Mellie Ablaza’s much-awaited annual soiree took place at the NBC Tent recently. Full of pomp and pageantry, the exclusive gathering featured guests from the diplomatic corps, bankers, industrialists, members of the FCCP and the who’s who of the social and party scenes dressed to the nines as they were given a royal welcome by Mellie, as she stood side-by-side with her dashing husband Louie for the most fashionable party of the year! Circus folk, ballet dancers and a parade of poodles and Afghan hounds welcomed the guests who thoroughly enjoyed the elaborate presentation done by Mellie’s son Jun-Jun.
Indeed, a truly dazzling and memorable event from the Ablazas –– I can’t wait for next year’s party!
