"I wanted to bring out the urban spirit and send a message that individuality and attitude are what matter most in one’s personal style," Raul says. "I wanted to offer people alternatives to the ‘safe’ and bland bags that you see all too often.
"My collection is a study in effortless flair. I have done a lot of groundwork to make Carbon a reality and have traveled around Asia to procure the best of accessories and materials. Many hours have been spent researching on the latest designs. For bags, as in all things aesthetic, it is the details that count the most."
Another special feature of Carbon is its men’s line. "I realized that there were not many options for men in terms of brief cases and bags and so I made it a point to make a line that would answer this need," Raul explains.
Carbon clients can expect even more surprises with Raul’s new portfolio collection using larger hardware, double flaps and more cutting-edge designs.
