Forgiveness

Dear DJ Jacky G.,

Ang wali sa pastor last Sunday bahin sa forgiveness. Kinahanglan mangayo ta og pasaylo ug makat-on ta’ng mupasaylo. Niduol akong ex paghuman sa service unya giingnan ko’g “I forgive you.” Wa ko katingog. Siya man unta ang naa’y sala nako, ako man hinuon ang gi-forgive! Baga gyud og nawong! —Mel

Dear Mel,

There must be a reason why he said that. Ug medyo kalma-kalma na ka, message him. Ask him what the forgiveness was for and try to see things from his perspective. Also, if kaya na sa imo’ng heart, when the time is right, tell him very calmly of his shortcomings and tell him you’ve forgiven him too.
