Horoscope

September 6, 2004

- Joyce Jillson -
The Leo moon takes the reins, putting a high-profile slant on fun. Friends and family will want to be out and about. Schedule an event that will be a combination of the outdoors and a party-like atmosphere. The Virgo sun lends a dose of organizational power, so planning the day’s events for an entire group of people will be a snap. However, have fun yourself as well. Try not to fuss over every single detail.

ARIES (March 21-April 19).
Delays could cost you money, but doing nothing is the costliest choice of all. Misplaced funds are a tragedy, considering all the wonderful things you can do with your money – think before you spend.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
Stop being your own worst critic. Words, travel and writing are magical for you. Plans with friends need some shifting around, but will work out in the end. Children surprise you tonight; remember who’s in charge.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
You function at peak performance this afternoon. Follow up on a lead, or you’ll quickly lose it. Get into the issues that have long been ignored. In romance, just say the word to tie up loose ends. Now, you are free.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
Make communication the first thing on your list of priorities – letters and phone calls returned now bring luck down the line. Keep striving to be an individual, not part of the masses. You are noticed by a sexy someone.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
Business agreements that have been long negotiated now come together. Do not be concerned about financial matters out of your control. Concentrate on your personal life – you deserve more fun and adventure.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (September 6).
You tie it all in this year, applying the lessons of the past to your present relationships. Partnerships of all kinds are lucky. Set job goals this month and next. Ask for a raise or some special training. November gives you a chance to resolve long-standing challenges. In December you are asked to make a commitment with your whole heart. Passionate love with a Scorpio or Pisces is magical.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
Frustration at work resolves as you become clear about your boundaries and your rights. Good friends benefit you emotionally and financially – duplicitous friends do the opposite.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23).
Complaining does absolutely no good – seek workable solutions to your love problems. Work brings new challenges, all of which you are capable of handling. Draw up a new budget, as the old one is no longer practical.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21).
Exaggerated emotional needs keep you searching for what is in your own backyard. Don’t waste your efforts; appreciate what you have. Be careful not to demand too much from your relationships; you get more by expecting less.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
Siblings may have something valuable to share that heals a past wound. Good fortune pours into your social network. Work done alone is best. Homemakers are inspired by a friend’s success.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
Your charm dissolves a long-standing feud. A distant love is completely faithful. Who you know becomes of tremendous interest to a new love or boss. Privileges are revoked if you challenge authority foolishly.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
You are appreciated by a present employer, which will give you the means to move on to your own creative projects. Love suddenly becomes exciting when you make a bold commitment. Indecision only prolongs your discomfort.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
Fantastic bonds are cemented with lengthy discussions. Be encouraging, yet critical, when a family member asks for the truth. Doubts related to love are slowly dissipating. Accept that nobody else can define you.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS:
"Will I (born July 14, 1962) ever be happy? Perhaps my husband, a depressive person, is the one bringing me low, but then again, I’ve never felt completely fulfilled at work, either. I’m a data processor. Anyhow, it just seems like I’m always in a bad mood, and I’m tired of it."

Cancerians are the only astrological sign ruled by the moon, and the moon rules the emotions. Possibly you are more subtly in tune with the emotional tides and the subconscious motives than those around you. You may be more creative, artistic, sensitive, intuitive and more easily hurt than others. Cancers sometimes think that their problems are just theirs because they feel them so deeply. Others may simply choose to ignore their problems, and thus, sweep their unhappiness under a rug. You are not content to lead this "unexamined life." Channel your feelings into artistic endeavors – especially those you do with your hands. Attending group sessions (therapy, church), also lightens your load. Based on your chart, right now, you are angry with the people who love you most because you feel disempowered at work. A change of job is what you really need.
