Horoscope

July 10, 2004

- Joyce Jillson -
The Leo moon reaches its stride today, so don’t be surprised if everything seems larger than life. Even with the sun and Mercury in shy Virgo, the Leo moon will get people socializing. Mars in Scorpio can adversely affect the outgoing nature of Leo, but if you keep your mind on Leo’s main objectives of attention and fun, the weekend should be a blast.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. A romance with someone from a different background enables you to learn valuable lessons. All work and no play frustrates you – make weekend plans to include a short getaway, but go somewhere local.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
Revel in romantic times, letter-writing and soothing the nerves of harried loved ones. Take extra care in traffic and with spending. Your intuition is a bit off today – don’t be overwhelmed by confused feelings.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
Love and romance come without warning. If you’re traveling, delays are to be expected, but everyone is pleasant about it. This evening, a dinner party or a gathering gives rise to spirited debates.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
Shifting influences keeps life interesting, especially in relationships. Fun with friends may start early with the arrival of unexpected guests. Lots of chat is unavoidable unless you lock yourself in a closet.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
You attract the one you want. Give in to a spouse’s suggestions for fun. Write letters of opinion. Clean the mess out of storage rooms and closets – you’ll find just what you were looking for.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (July 10).
Seize your chance to live passionately! Virgos realize that love comes from within – start by first falling madly in love with yourself! October provides lots of stimulus, with the help of a Capricorn or Taurus. Partners in business can help you net a windfall if you establish a solid plan in November. Travel in December may change your career direction and inspire other changes, too!

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
Be flexible, as schedule changes can be worked out in your favor. Don’t be afraid of jumping into the big pond. Your love needs a release and your good advice. Your creative skills are at a peak.

LIBRA (Sept.23-Oct.23).
The love you feel is your ticket to success. Though plenty of fresh faces are around, you’ll spend the evening learning new things about the people you’ve known for years. Your in-laws can cost you a lot of money if you’re not careful.

SCORPIO (Oct.24-Nov.21).
You’ll cast the deciding vote. A colleague deserves special consideration at a trying time. An astrological boost to your willpower may help you adopt a new diet or exercise program. Reach out to an estranged relative this evening.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov.22-Dec.21).
New friendships open doors – and new romances open your heart to new experiences. You have lots of fans – at least one is in a high position. Your remarks may be heard as criticism, so be gentle.

CAPRICORN (Dec.22-Jan.19).
Catch a loved one’s error in time to save him or her from embarrassment. Friendship comes first – do a favor for the one who has helped you in the past. Old friends can be helpful in your love life.

AQUARIUS (Jan.20-Feb.18).
Meetings of adversaries make more progress than expected. Your intuition is strong in problem-solving, but don’t gamble. Rest up, and don’t take life too seriously – there’s a big weekend ahead.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
Do something practical for the one you love – buy him or her some socks, wash the car, or offer to massage your honey. It’s the best way to win a heart today. Parties go great through the weekend – accept all invites.

ASTROLOGICAL PROFILE:
"Will you do an astrological profile on my son, whose birthday is on Oct. 25, 1991? My birthday is May 4, 1950."

His Venus is on top of your own, in Virgo, and Jupiter is also there – your son will widen the world of love for you. His moon in Taurus gives insight into "the real you," and Scorpios are extraordinarily perceptive to begin with, so don’t try to fool him! With your Sagittarian moon, you’ll enjoy teaching him as much as he enjoys learning. However, you’ll have to agree on how you lead your personal life. Make sure he feels comfortable with other family members, or you’ll have to stay home with him more often than you’d like. He’s likely to be quite brilliant, and with Mars and Mercury together and beautifully aspected in Scorpio, he’ll want to turn ideas into action. In his first few years, supervise him closely. With his remarkable concentration and his limitless desire for knowledge, he’ll succeed.
