Horoscope

March 28, 2004

- Joyce Jillson -
The sun, the moon and Mercury transit through Aries, so morale is up, and enthusiasm is high. The last thing you need is some buzz kill to come along and say that our expectations and plans are unreasonable, even though they probably are. What was impossible last week is now in the realm of possibility because we believe it is so.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. Through the magic of media, you have as much access to the experts as a VIP. You’re the star in your show and deserve to treat yourself like a celebrity. A manicure, massage or hair style pays off in ways you can’t imagine.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
Bold moves are good for your heart. Break down the walls that keep you from individuality, if there are any. Sing out loud, talk to people you don’t know, and be the first to stand up for the one who can’t defend him or herself.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
It’s like you’re starting from scratch in relationships, new and old. Talking on the phone may be preferred to dating tonight. Also, you could learn more about someone on the Internet than you would if you met in person.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
You’re a smart investor of your time, energy and money. Move in accordance with your heart, and shut out other factors. In relationships, this is a rare time when past performance is not an indication of future performance.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
Human nature focuses on what’s imperfect, but you let loving thoughts guide you instead, which is why you’re a super human! Finances benefit from some pruning. Show that you’re in control, and you’ll be trusted with more.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (March 28).
This year, you are more compassionate toward yourself and your fellow man. Though you are goal-oriented, focusing on your softer aims, like being a more loving person, forwards you more quickly than anything else. An ideal partnership in June – with Sagittarius and Taurus especially – gives you the courage to take risks. Your lucky numbers are: 3, 22, 49, 19 and 50.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
You are sensitive to other people’s imbalances, which is why troubled ones seek you out. Lend a hand to help and a shoulder to lean on, but don’t lend money. Luckily, healing others helps you heal yourself.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23).
A slight alteration in your course should be taken now. If you wait, the correction will no longer be slight. Wealth is relative. In comparison to most of the world, you are rich. For luck, make a donation.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21)
. Will you base your action on facts or on the fictional scenario you’ve got in your mind? Well, facts don’t tell the whole story, and feelings are all blown out of proportion. It’s best to wait this one out. Write a letter to yourself.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
You have a love/hate relationship with your dreams now. They both inspire you and leave you restless and wanting. Sharing with a partner or friend will bond you together. What you long for is not unusual.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
What good is holding a belief if you don’t act on it? There are two chances today. If you miss an opportunity this morning, you’ll get another night. A decision is presented. Either way you decide, you will turn a corner.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
It’s hard for you to relate to fussy people, since you’re so adept at making the most of what life gives you. Demand a little more tonight, though. You’re teaching people how to treat you, so keep your standards high!

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
Loved ones pull on your thoughts – certain social duties have gone neglected too long. Sit down, and make yourself be constructive, even if it means hiding the remote control. Tonight’s issues relate to last week.

FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD:
It’s the first week of spring! All the frisky new energy has the quality of the opening sequence of a Disney animated film – vivid, optimistic and filmed with wondrous intrigue about what is to follow. At the top of the week, the sun, the moon and Mercury transit through Aries. The best part of Aries is enthusiasm and energy. Almost nothing is impossible – you’ve got a clean slate. The bad part is selfishness. Continually check yourself this week to make sure that you are acting in a way that not only serves a personal interest but is also moral, ethical and beneficial to humans other than yourself. Wednesday, Pluto goes retrograde. This heavy-duty planet has similar qualities to Mars – aggression, cleansing, demolition for the purpose of rebuilding – but it’s effect is larger and longer-term. It’s like looking back on a seemingly insignificant childhood event and realizing that it still affects who you are today. Use this Pluto transit to help rid yourself of soul baggage that drags you down. Thursday, the moon and Mars connect in such a way that sets off a chain of events. Make sure your intentions are good, and if they aren’t, take the time to get right with the world.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Aries is the sign of breakout roles, and Keira Knightley displays her Aries nature by choosing to do films like "Bend It Like Beckham" and "The Pirates of the Caribbean." But will Knightley continue on to become a major leading lady? Aries folks sometimes run out of stamina in Act Two of their careers. Aries can overcome this by tapping into competitive instincts and striving to outdo their last performance.
