Horoscope

December 28, 2003

- Joyce Jillson -
The wise Pisces moon, the last sign of the zodiac, makes this the prefect time to reflect on last year. Pisces is the summation of the other signs, so a summation of the year will be accurately deduced, giving future projections more validity. Remember, though, that where you’ve been isn’t always a great indicator of where you are going.

ARIES (March 21-April 19).
Ambition is renewed; someone sexy loves the new spark in you. Tune in this afternoon when exceptional observational skills give you an edge. Keep spending to a minimum. You’ve got nothing to prove.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
Give friendship more defined boundaries, or you’ll find yourself in a state of resentment. An alluring new person could distract you from your main focus – and it’s so much more fun! Show your interest instead of playing it cool.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
The tables turn in a financial situation. Following the voice of experience saves you money. Be moderate; a lavish gift makes the wrong impression. Regarding family, hard facts are easier to deal with than you think.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
Nothing happens by accident, so pay attention. Teens face peers pressure and are especially in need of your help. New contacts are featured. Take a moment to give and then another to figure out what you’re grateful for.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
Your love life is pumped up by the hope that a new person brings. There’s always another way to look at things – that’s where your power lies. You’ll see the problem like nobody else does and come up with novel solutions.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (December 28).
Huge amounts of energy will be at your disposal this year. You may do and see more next month that you did all last year! New friends help you in business and love in February. Singles: Your life story is enriched by events that occur in the early spring. Invest in property in lucky May. A new partnership brings wealth in July. Your lucky numbers are: 2, 27, 14, 35 and 9.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
Recharging your battery is serious business that affects your whole week. Some of your best creative work can be done this afternoon. Decline social invitations, and put in extra hours at home.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23).
Breakthroughs about how the brain works will benefit you. Learn by reading or listening to lectures on tape. Living to the limit means something different to you than it does to loved ones.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21).
When you’re making ’em laugh, nobody minds too much if you stretch the truth. A loved one may have been truly about an act in the past but repeats it now nonetheless. Figure out how you can break the cycle.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
Attracting Mr./Ms. Right means that you don’t necessarily take the first one who comes along. Be discerning. Extra care is required for the dubious task of spending other people’s money, however small the purchase.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
Your world could be turned upside down. You’ll find ways to do it better, faster and cheaper. Cut ties and drop habits that don’t serve you. Lucky signs to partner/flirt/converse with are Pisces and Cancer.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
Only partner up with true equals for business. A relationship between non-equals is a strategic disaster. You’re craving a thrill this afternoon. Don’t leave the house with any more money than you’re willing to lose.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
Friends have plenty of ideas, but none of them is exactly appropriate for you. You’ll succeed with your own wacky antics. Resist the temptation to splurge on what is unhealthy. Clean closets, and organize your assets.

FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD:
Pisces is the final sign of the zodiac, and while the moon explores this stage in the sky, it’s the perfect time to reflect, not only on recent events, but on the shape your last year took. It wasn’t always what you expected, but it was what you projected. On Tuesday, Mercury dips into adventurous Sagittarius, another fire sign that adores spontaneity. This aspect encourages you to take bold steps instead of hedging our bets. This trend, if continued on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, will lead you through a remarkable year. The Aries moon gets the New Year’s Eve party started. It doesn’t matter if you’re in a crowd or alone, having a good time is inevitable – it’s an attitude, not a circumstance. On Saturday, Jupiter begins backtracking through Virgo, a retrograde action that continues over the next four months. If you are expecting a settlement, an inheritance or the money from a big sale to come through, you may experience a delay. The wait will lonely make you more appreciative and grateful when what you deserve is finally delivered.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Sexy and serious Denzel Washington exemplifies Capricorn intensity. Capricorn people are naturally drawn to politics, and this year, Washington could publicly support an issue or candidate – the beginning of a political journey. Issues of respect come up for Washington and other Capricorn men born in ’54. A financial decision sets a precedent for dealings later this decade.
