Horoscope

December 20, 2003

- Joyce Jillson -
The Leo moon and Sagittarius sun are a dynamite duo, daring one another to perform bigger and better feats as the weekend progresses. With these fire-sign influences messing with our sense of reason, we can do far more than if we actually stopped to think about statistics, logic and what has been proven in history.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. You break out on your own – a winning, bold move. You’ve been such a terrific support to others that when you finally give yourself a dose of that encouragement, you rocket to a new level of personal growth.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
Signs point to the fact that you need a change. Grant someone forgiveness – it’s for your own good, and besides, you’ll feel revitalized afterward. Cravings for a new and exciting escape are sated in the most ordinary ways.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
You turn heads everywhere you go with your star quality. You’ll have your hands full dealing with interesting offers. Get the routine stuff over with early in the day so you can embark on fabulous social plans.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
You’re at your most appealing when in the spotlight. A love lavishes you with favors, all of which you don’t need, but it’s good to be put on that pedestal. Friends have problems (jealousy maybe?) that you should not take personally.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
Being open to the ways of a different culture provides solutions you never would have thought of on your own. The yellow pages are also a great ally. Tonight, family politics heat up – stay out of it.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (December 20).
Your personality power is extraordinary this year! You can charm your way into a new financial stratum in a matter of months. Loved ones need your attention, too, especially through January, so be sure to spend quality hours at home. Singles meet soul mates among progressive thinkers in March. Lucky loves are Pisces and Scorpio. Your lucky numbers are: 6, 43, 11, 51 and 24.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
Your instincts are right on, no matter what others say. There’s acclaim and possibly pay for your opinions. Donating part of your proceeds to a certain charity could double your business.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23).
Get together with friends to brainstorm for your special project. The best ideas are the ones you come up with when four or more people are sitting around the table. Be open to criticism, and you’ll be ahead of the competition.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21)
. Don’t hesitate to chuck your plans to follow someone else or forget your story in favor of being a listener. Loosen your grip on the proverbial controls – there are tangible and immediate benefits. Your romantic luck is outstanding.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
Remind yourself who you are by doing what pleases you. Once you get your heart singing again, you have enough energy to tackle even unsavory tasks that have been sitting on your to-do list for months.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
Making money doesn’t have to be difficult and treacherous. The key is to lead a little more with your heart. Always thinking about the bottom dollar is a drain on your creative energy

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
You’ll be abuzz with curiosity about that new person in your realm. This gives you a chance to be mysterious, too, and paint yourself however you’d like to appear to this new person.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
Some ideas are better left unexpressed, especially critical ones. The same goes for inappropriate feelings you might have for someone in proximity. But love has its way of making itself known even in silence.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS:
"I’m a Cancer senior citizen, and I want to move closer to my children and grandchildren, and into a smaller place, but I can’t seem to get rid of all my stuff. I had a garage sale but didn’t draw the kind of prices that my possessions are valued at. Should I try and sell my things on an online auction? That seems time consuming, and I’m not sure how to do it. Should I give them to my children?"

Possessions are very important to your sign, especially when they relate to the home. You find it virtually impossible to release anything you have accumulated over the years. Collecting is a favorite pastime that can eventually become a source of helpless frustration. However, with ingenuity, you can also turn this predicament into a useful business. Satisfy the collector’s instinct by cataloging a fine collection and then selling it for top dollar in an auction. You mention that this is time consuming, and that’s correct. Have someone teach you how, or buy a book. Though it will take a great deal of time, you’ll enjoy every minute and get a lot of confidence out of the endeavor, too. You’ll have fun watching stuff go for profit, and it’s a business you can take with you when you move!

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Jennifer Connelly is a fiery Sagittarius who could explore the world of modeling next year. Though she’s a serious actress, I predict that a designer label will offer her too much money to pass up the opportunity to be a spokeswoman for their daring but sophisticated line. Move over, Elizabeth Hurley, there’s a new face to contend with on those glossy pages!
