Just when you thought the Taurus sun was stabilizing things, the Aries moon comes along to rock the boat. This placement and Mars in Aquarius conspire to get us into what’s new and exciting. Let innovative energies move you. Don’t shy away from minor conflicts; the tension actually provides the building blocks for your next incarnation.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). The immunity factor plays a role – what was fun for you last week is no longer effective. You’re the trendsetter, so don’t be surprised if your circle is till completely engaged in the very activity you never want to do again.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). A hectic start to the day won’t be so bad if you remember that tonight you’ll have lots of uninterrupted time to yourself to read, bathe and relax. New friends are changing your ideas about how you want the world to notice you.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Preliminary work is being laid down for a change that’s around the corner. Examine your love relationship. The need to feel in control may be what’s preventing you from committing. Give someone else a chance to lead.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). You may be going over old ground on projects. Co-workers need the review more than you do, but you’ll be glad you took the time necessary to get everyone up to speed. Call the shots when you care more than others.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Those with romantic notions about work are the most inspiring and fun to be around. Opportunities to make money this afternoon involve being willing to sell something very quickly. Try out passive and active roles.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (May 12). You walk on the wild side this year, and a change in your point of view helps you express yourself in new ways. New employment makes the spring a bit stressful but also one of your most resourceful periods. VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Be patient – there will be errors. Certain loved ones are going through a tough learning curve, and your restraint from criticism will help them get through it faster. You can end the search for a missing item with a phone call.

LIBRA (Sept.23-Oct.23). Keep the troops entertained during the downtime – which there might be plenty of, unfortunately. A well-meaning person could try to "help" you out with the very thing that’s your specialty. Nip this in the bud.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). New relationships bring built-in possibilities for travel and intellectual expansion. If you pass a test of loyalty, the future opens up. At work, responsibility becomes clear. Say "now" now, or forever hold your peace.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Insightful and quiet aspects encourage inner growth with an emphasis on balance. If your partner is overbearing, you can remedy the situation now by asserting yourself. Take courage.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Bright ideas are your sexiest quality, but think things through before you speak up. Being on the outside is painful, so show some mercy to the new person. It’s pretty simple to make money money, but it’s not easy.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Less attention to changing yourself makes you feel confident. This is not a time to learn new hip phrases; just stick to the standards. Make a list of your best features. Security, material and emotional, is what you want in love.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Being able to create magic takes a bit of planning and is very much worth it. After all, isn’t a life that includes a little razzle-dazzle much preferred? Concentrate energy on what makes you happy.

With the unstable economy of today, independent contractors have been hit hard, regardless of their sign. But Pisces wisdom will allow you to take this period for what it is: A golden opportunity for making your life richer in the ways that matter. Your new baby will refocus you towards your family bond – affecting the other children as well. It’s useless to spend your time worrying about the lack of work. Instead, take this interruption of income as a sign that you need to start new channels of income flowing to you. You could start a day care, develop a weekend business, or simply find better methods of advertising your contracting work. Don’t panic! Many people have gone much further on much less. CELEBRITY PROFILES: Tony Danza could take his one-man show to off-Broadway this year, after hiring a Sagittarius or Pisces to rewrite the script and songs. An upbeat number could even get played on the radio! Danza’s Libra moon gives him the distinction of being totally liked by everyone, which is why I predict he’ll be tasked to be the executor of a will – and he never even knew the deceased!
