With the sun proudly gliding into Taurus, the sign of the Bull, prepare to get some serious work done over the next four weeks. Activities today are meant to gear us up for the process, and you may feel the anticipatory anxiety of a Bull striking the ground with his hooves to scare off competitors and get in the right mind-set for coming challenges.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. Finding your soul mate is an exercise in being honest. You’ll be dredging up old baggage, taking a look at it, and deciding whether or not to toss it out the window. You don’t have to let the past control you, and it’s easy to just drop it.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
A sweetheart’s decisions affect you more than you care to admit. People like you best when you are not trying to please them. Your financial situation is only temporary. Do your part to save as much as you can. Pisces love is real.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
You might see the financial picture through a gray cloud of discouragement, but brighter, more confident days are just ahead! The fun of getting attention is balanced by the need to think and act independently.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
Strategy is required, but if you’re willing to think a problem through to the end, you’ll come out on top. That critical friend has your best interest in mind and some good ideas, too.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
Originality puts spice back in romance. A loved one realizes your need for extra attention and surprises you with something special. Make time to clean and do repairs. Tonight’s emphasis on discipline brings satisfaction.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (April 20).
Love can be absolutely transforming. Give yourself completely to that true heart who is a friend and passion partner all wrapped up in one person. With communication, you should be able to work through inevitable complications. Career prospects in July should be jumped on without hesitation. Lucky love matches are Libra and Capricorn. Your lucky numbers are: 1, 24, 34, 51 and 45.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
New people are entering the social sphere; before you recommend a friend for love or a job, be sure he or she is capable as well as nice. Health matters are highlighted; dive into a program that has been approved by professionals.

LIBRA (Sept.23-Oct.23).
Except for the fun of having a loved one in the power spot, you’re feeling a bit left out of the main action. Take excellent care of yourself, and watch for your chance to shine. The whole crowd falls head over heels for you.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21).
Since you’re on top of things, it’s kind (and very lucky) to take time to help a friend. Maybe it isn’t as important to make money as it is to be thrifty and practical with what you have. Paying the bills has to come before shopping.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
When self-esteem is high, you stay in the game. Challenge the old school of thought, even if it’s someone you love who’s thinking this way. Leo and Libra are especially in tune with what you need.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
Take the time to acknowledge yourself for big and little feats alike. Show up at social functions, and don’t feel guilty if your M.O. is merely to build new business and community alliances. You’ll have fun, too!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
You may be forced to deal with challenging personalities, but this only inspires you to be more creative. You’ve got what it takes to lead loved ones to doing what’s best for the family and thus do much good in the world.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
Give your inner voice much-deserved credit. This opinionated part of you could help you steer clear of dead-end relationships, make more money, or find a better place to live. Virgo or Capricorn loves are your inspiration.

FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD:
It’s an astrologically eventful week, starting with the sun’s exciting introduction to the realm of Taurus. It’s been a year since the sun left this tough-minded sign, and one need only look back to last April and may to get a glimpse of the hard work that’s in store for the next four weeks. This week is about gearing up – striking one’s metaphorical hooves in the dirt like a bull getting ready to charge. Tomorrow, two planets up and migrate – Venus prances into the evergreen sign of Aries, and Mars slips into Aquarius like a detective closing in on the criminal, notepad in hand, We're caught between two pursuits – keeping our overactive libidos in check and figuring out how to make some money. Venus in Aries has an impulsive quality, and not everything that comes to mind, as exciting and romantic as it may seem, is a good idea. In fact, many bad ideas must be rejected this week, the quicker the better. Mars in Aquarius helps out in this regard by approaching problems with both brains and brawn. Aquarius energy is inventive, eclectic and brilliant – and so will be the solutions to any problem we encounter.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Kirsten Dunst could get not one, not two, but seven proposals of marriage this year. She and other Taurus women born in 1982 are experiencing a very hot year where popularity and sex appeal are off the charts. Marriage, however, isn't favored now for Dunst or other Taurus women, unless the suitor is a Capricorn. Taurus women need to be very selective this year in both love and career.
