Horoscope

February 23, 2003

- Joyce Jillson -
When was the last time you felt exhilarated? One way to go with the planetary flow and create some enthusiasm in your life to take the lead of the Sagittarian moon and do something new, strange, multicultural or just plain far away. Even if you simply get in the car and drive, you’ll drum up more good vibes than by you would by staying home.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. Refine your social image. You can’t help but make friends you’re gong to value for the long term. Let go of a persistent, nagging problem. Your dreams bring insight about to the best way to do that.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
Strong hunches lead you to the right doors. Someone younger values your opinion; why not help him or he up the same ladder you just climbed? Improvements in the home are featured. A well-connected Scorpio helps.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
Avoid seeing things as "forever," and concentrate instead on what you can control now. You’re kind to advise a friend, but don’t get to involved in the problem. For Gemini shoppers: Put quality over quantity.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
You are drawn to the psychic world and desire to fine-tune your intuitive skills. Hone and display your talents. Don’t hoard them. What you don’t think is important could bring great joy to someone else.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
As your priorities fall into a different lineup, a new door swings wide open to you. It’s amazing what one small shift in consciousness can do. Friends will wonder what you’re up to and call you out of the blue.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (February 23).
This year, you make opportunities work for you! Simplify your life in the next few weeks – it’s your key to success. Following your own path is what attracts sexy partners through April. Other financial ventures started this summer bring long-term financial security. Make low bids on a house in August – you’ll still get the deal. Your lucky numbers are: 4, 26, 31, 18 and 36.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
Questions of integrity surface at home. Admirably, you strive to be the bigger person, turning your back on anything petty. It might not work in this case, though. Stop, and deal directly with what bothers you. Tell it like it is.

LIBRA (Sept.23-Oct.23).
You deserve the heaps of positive attention loaded on you today. After all, you get what you project. If leaving the house, take cash, and you won’t be caught off guard. Tonight, you’re influenced by an advertisement.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21).
Everyone needs you now, it seems. Value your own time, and others will, too. Try not to compare yourself to friends. (Or if you must, at least do so in a way that makes you feel good about your uniqueness.)

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
Express yourself through the arts – you’ve got real talent. Don’t show your love in financial terms. The person who whispers in your ear that he or she needs such proof is lacking something on a deep level.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
You are only responsible for a s much as you take on, so refuse to be victimized by overwork. Take your time with creative activities. A sudden stroke of luck comes in the afternoon! Spur-of-the-moment trips are fabulous.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
A burst of optimism is featured this morning. Your example affects others more than you think. Around friends, be careful not to sell yourself short by making self-depreciating joke. They won’t respect you later.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
The more relaxed you are, the more you can achieve. Taking care of parents or children is a responsibility that falls to you tonight. Avoid being late, as people take it personally. Respect for tradition scores points.

FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD:
This is a week to step up the stakes. Assuming that you only get one lie, making the most of it will be your challenge and your pleasure. The Sagittarius moon introduces us to that part of the world we knew nothing about just last week. There’s no substitute for real-life experience (reading and virtual exploration will be a temptation, but it will fall short), though it does take a good dose of courage to jump in. by Tuesday, we start gathering our notes and trying to make sense of them. After all, you can’t keep everyone you meet in your life. Go through the business cards, brochures, postcards and magazines you’ve collected, and figure out what you can use in your future and what you can’t. Now that Saturn is direct in hopeful Gemini, this should be a lighthearted process. Even if something or someone gets nixed, if it’s supposed to be in your life, it will show up again later. Aquarius welcomes the moon at the end of the week. Reasonable plans will quickly escalate to the realm of the totally outrageous. We might have trouble distinguishing what’s doable from or fantasies, but the beauty of it is that if you believe it’s possible, it probably is.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Prince Andrew was born under a sexy Scorpio moon and while Venus and Mars were parading through the sign of status, tradition and royalty – Capricorn. I predict that after some crazy dates help him decide he’s through with bachelor life, he could secretly get back with Fergie in May. The relationship will last, but the secret won’t, and a highly publicized wedding could punctuate their decision.
