Horoscope

December 03, 2002

- Joyce Jillson -
Two exciting transits could make you kick up your heels tonight. First, Mercury decides to take a wild ride through the sign of adventure, Sagittarius. This increases our need for social interaction and change. Second, the moon is full in Taurus, tempting us to indulge in whatever makes us feel good. All five senses are ready to take in life!

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. Acts of kindness may come out of the blue. Leave power plays to the shortsighted – you’ve got better methods for getting noticed. Family and home need attention. Spend tonight with someone who is crazy for you.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
Make all of your decisions count. That means following them up with action. Miracles can happen in your love life. Many find they need to travel west to really do business the right way.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
You may have to reduce your expenses for a while – an important move toward success. Don’t borrow anything unless it’s absolutely necessary. Loved ones may fight over duties, but things improve quickly.

CANCER (June 22-July 22)
. Stop looking at the deficits, and start to realize how important people are to you. A sweet individual re-enters your life. Consider a new course of study to expand skills or update practical knowledge.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
There is freedom in responsibility – something you didn’t realize when you took the job. Don’t be afraid of attachments; everyone needs to love and be loved. You could fall in love with an intuitive Aquarius.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (December 03).
This is the year you will strive for the better life you were meant for and find higher ground. You really get a chance to use your talent now through the end of December. Romance is hot in January, when singles find love and married folk find new reasons to keep going. The best signs for new love are passionate Cancer and psychic Pisces. Your lucky numbers are: 12, 1, 3, 48 and 15.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
Changes in attitude are duly noticed, and violations of status structures will be confronted. At work, you’ll surpass your competition, but the race is long, so keep paying attention. Traditional dinner-and-a-movie dates go well.

LIBRA (Sept.23-Oct.23).
It’s not so hard to think outside the box – and friends who dare you are a little help, too. Leap right over whatever is in your way. Embracing the unknown is lucky and will help bring problems to a happier resolution.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21).
Let go of your need to figure everything out, and just relax. When you include family members in deals, a special touch of luck comes, too. Travel improves a love relationship and may be the catalyst for marriage.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
Today is a magic day for love and exploring the many ways to nurture your spirit. Commitment scares you, but you can overcome the fear. A so-called friend is trying to lure you to a perilous path; be careful.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
Give your all to the job, but use power with even more care than usual. You won’t believe how sensitive some people are. Busy and happy, you finish your work and will be rewarded with romantic attention and fun.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
A new idea may involve striking out in a career direction all your own, which could work nicely! Fun in the moneymaking and social sectors may have resulted in a little neglect of family, which you will now hear about.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
You’ll daydream and have trouble listening to others; solitude is productive, though. Your physical environment needs attention anyway, and only you can make it right. If traveling by car, be on the lookout forbad drivers.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS:
"I read the horoscope in the newspaper every day, and I am wondering why there are always negative remarks about Sagittarius. What did we do to you to keep us feeling like we’re nothing? I’d like to know what your sign is."

I’m puzzled by your letter, and since you didn’t include your birthday, I can’t read as deeply into the person behind this question as I would ike. But thank you for sharing your thoughts, dear Sagittarius, and I assure you, whatever you read, it wasn’t intended to make you feel like you are nothing. Hopefully, your spirits will be lifted by the fact that the sun is coming into your sign in a matter of days. This transit will be overwhelmingly positive for Sagittarians, who will receive much acclaim for projects they have been working on for at least 11 months. You’ll also be turning heads on a personal level, and new friends will want to spend time with you, pouring on the admiration. You were born under an extremely lucky sign, ruled by Jupiter, the planet of abundance. Confidence and courage are your natural gifts, as well as social ease. Rest assured, your sign is well liked by many, including me. I’m a Libra, by the way.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
She’ll star in the box-office hit "True Lies 2" this year, and then, Jamie Lee Curtis (a Scorpio born on the cusp) will get back to what makes her heart really soar lately – writing for children. Scorpios often have a special rapport with children because they don’t feel the need to candy-coat things or patronize little ones like so many adults do. Her next book could rival Harry Potter on the best-seller list.
